Dr. Ann Ford Reilley
Dr. Ann Ford Reilley is thrilled to be part of one of the few mother-daughter Plastic Surgery practices in the country. She is extremely proud to introduce her former patients to her daughter Kate.
Dr. Reilley has practiced in Baton Rouge for thirty years. She was the first woman in Louisiana to be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She has a special interest in breast surgery including augmentation, reduction, and breast surgery revision. As a result of her affinity for treating young women with developmental breast asymmetry she presented the topic at the prestigious Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium and published a paper on the topic in the Aesthetic Journal. She was recognized for leadership, experience and development in breast augmentation by Mentor Corporation in its 2013 LEAD symposium. In 2019 she was chosen as one of two Southeastern Society Visiting Professors. In this role Dr. Reilley visited the University of Alabama in Birmingham, the University of South Carolina and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. To the Residents she presented “Then and Now: What I learned in Thirty Years of Practice”. To the members of the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons she gave the keynote address: “Life Stages of a Plastic Surgeon”.
community involvement
Dr. Reilley has served the Baton Rouge community by involvement with her church, local schools, and non-profit organizations. Through a wide variety of commitments – as Eucharistic minister, team doctor for the Catholic High lacrosse team, lunch server at St. Aloyisius and St. Joseph’s Academy, volunteer for Junior League projects, member of the Baton Rouge Ballet Board, and volunteer teacher at New Hope - Dr. Reilley demonstrated her belief in the need to serve others with her time and talents.
In addition, Dr. Reilley has been involved in leadership in local and regional plastic surgery organizations. She served as President of the Louisiana Plastic Surgery Society and was actively involved in the passage of Louisiana’s Truth in Advertising bill to protect patients from false claims regarding Board certification.
She is the only woman to be elected as President of the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. The Southeastern is widely regarded as the finest regional Society in the country.
Dr. Reilley will serve as advisor to Ford Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and will maintain an active role in all aspects of the practice. She will bring her many years of experience and valuable knowledge to create an unparalleled patient experience to all who visit Ford Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. While not accepting new surgical patients, Dr. Reilley will assist Dr. Chiasson in selected surgical cases and she will accept new patients for neurotoxins and fillers.
